Tristan Telford

Tristan is the founder and driving force behind Teton Metal Fabrication LLC, with over a decade of hands-on experience in welding, fabrication, and structural steel. Before launching the company in 2020, he spent years managing large-scale projects and building a reputation for quality craftsmanship and reliability.

Teton Metal Fabrication was born from Tristan’s vision to deliver top-tier metalwork with a focus on precision, innovation, and local pride. Under his leadership, the company has quickly become a trusted name across Southeast Idaho and beyond, known for structural steel, custom stairs and railings, and high-end fabrication services.

In addition to running the business, Tristan spent several years as a welding instructor, sharing his knowledge and instilling high standards in the next generation of tradespeople. This passion for mentorship continues to shape the company’s culture today.

When he's not in the shop or on a job site, Tristan enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the outdoors that inspired the company’s name and values.

Owner, Project Manager

Payton Potter

Payton Potter leads the Light Fabrication Division at Teton Metal Fabrication, bringing over six years of welding experience and a sharp eye for detail to every project. As one of the company’s original team members, Payton has been instrumental in delivering the high-quality, custom metalwork TMF is known for.

Clients appreciate Payton’s clear communication, reliability, and commitment to doing things right the first time. Whether guiding a project through design, fabrication, or installation, he works closely with customers to ensure their vision is executed with precision and care.

Outside the shop, Payton is a devoted horseman and cattleman who enjoys farming and ranching—values that reflect his hardworking, down-to-earth approach in everything he does.

Shelby Rose

Shelby plays a vital role on our team as she supports the coordination and execution of custom metalwork projects from initial planning through final completion. With a sharp eye for detail and strong organizational skills, She helps ensure that daily operations run seamlessly—managing schedules, tracking project milestones, and keeping everything on track to meet deadlines. Outside of work, Shelby is a proud mother of two and an avid outdoors enthusiast. Whether she’s hiking through the mountains or spending time hunting, she brings the same dedication, focus, and determination from her personal life to every project she supports.

Stetson Rowe

Stetson got his start in welding during high school and has been dedicated to the craft ever since. With over five years of experience in local fabrication shops, he brings a solid foundation of skill, leadership, and hands-on knowledge to the team. As our lead foreman, Stetson plays a key role in keeping projects on track and up to standard. He takes pride in the work he does and especially enjoys the time spent behind the welding hood, turning plans into finished builds.

When he’s not in the shop, you can find Stetson out in the hills—snowmobiling, dirt biking, or just enjoying time with friends and family in the outdoors.

Lead Foreman, Welder, Fabricator

Ashton Madsen

Ashton takes pride in delivering high-quality work and enjoys seeing each project through to a clean, finished result. As a foreman and fabricator, he values the strong team around him and the satisfaction of a job well done. When he’s not on the job, you’ll find him golfing, hitting the gym, or working on trucks.

Max Nelson

Max started welding in high school and has been building his skills ever since, including time spent working for the city. He takes pride in seeing projects come together, knowing his hard work plays a key role in the final result. Outside of work, Max enjoys hiking, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.

Zach Jensen

Zach brings his experience to the team, having been in the welding industry for close to 5 years. He enjoys working with his hands and finds satisfaction in seeing real progress at the end of a hard day’s work. Whether it’s a big project or the fine details, Zach takes pride in being part of the build. When he’s not welding, you’ll find him outdoors—hunting, fishing, or out riding dirt bikes.

Caleb Wood

Caleb is passionate about welding and takes pride in the projects he helps build at Teton Metal Fabrication. He enjoys seeing each job come together from start to finish and being part of the process. Outside of work, Caleb spends his time outdoors—dirt biking, snowmobiling, fishing, and camping whenever he gets the chance.
